Continuity and Handoff Capable Apple Mini Cards + PCIe and mini-PCIe Adapters

From specifications listed by seller it should work.
Besides wdxxfu adapter http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.0.0.M8souu&id=38195333521 it is the only adapter that I have seen having four wire USB connection, which makes it capable to be used it in any PCI-E slot besides x1 slot.

so you would connect the cable with an USB header on the Motherboard and the card with a PCIe x8 or x16 slot?

I bought it here:
http://www.ebay.it/itm/390959657091?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Tested NOW! After 1 month it is arrived (due to my country customhouse, the seller makes delivery in 1 day)

Handoff OK
Airdrop OK
Continuity OK
Airport OK
Bluetooth 4.0 OK
iMessage (not tested since I don't use it and I'm not interested in it but I think should be ok since it is recognized as native airport card)

Tested on Yosemite 10.10.1 on an old mobo (p5k). Since it is not "bluetooth powered" I've used the included cable for usb supply.
No issues at all!

100% recommended, OOB in every sense. If you want no headhache go for this.

Hi to all,

My PCIe card arrived today and the BT+WIFI module arrived a week ago.

I want to connect this to an GA-Z87MX-D3H board, but I've the PCIe slot covered by the Nvida 780 card.

Does anyone have suggestions and how-to connect these to the referred MB?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

i just ordered this card and this adapter from eBay. Since I am using the Gigabyte H87N-Wifi board, and the only pci-e slot is not available, I will use the above mentioned adapter that will be connected to my half size mini-pci-e to full size mini pci-e adapter. I hope it will work.

Did the adapter work? I am wondering if the mini PCI-E slot on the motherboard can be reused.

Actually, why is the adapter needed at all? Can't the card be plugged directly in the mini PCI-E slot of the motherboard? The size shouldn't be important as the card is inserted perpendicularly to the motherboard.

EDIT: Sorry, just saw that in your motherboard the card plugs in horizontally.
