Please excuse me as i am very very new to the mac world. I am attempting to install Leopard on my iMac. Why? Okay, i got the mac from a friend, said it was messed up and didnt need it. Come to find out it was all wiped out (partitioned) no OS on it at all. I bought leopard and popped the installation cd in. Boots to the cd so i thought "greeat" here we go until this started going on. Installation starts and once it shows "calculating time" then shows 30 mins for it to complete it starts to install but then the screen dims out and forces me to shut down. Whats going on? Is this the boot0? What can i do to install it? please help me
