Consolidate Partitions?

In my dual boot research, I thought I ran across people trying to consolidate the EFI partitions or delete potentially unnecessary partitions created by the UEFI Windows 10 installation.

Is this necessary or advisable? I'm happy enough to have my dual drive/dual boot solution. Is there a reason to try to move the Windows directory over to the Mac HD's EFI partition?

If your system is running well there is no reason to try to remove or consolidate partitions - you will probably just create a lot of problems for yourself.
