Confirmed Audio Interfaces (Hobbyist/Pro-sumer/Pro) & Drivers - Mac OS X

I notice that Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 and 18i20 are on the confirmed list but the 18i8 is not. Do you think that's significant, or should my 18i8 work just fine? I get pops and skips even at 15% CPU usage.

It looks like there aren't many pro level interfaces confirmed... I don't see anything else on this list that can record at 192 Hz. Unless I'm missing something? (hopefully)

Hello,
I own a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd Gen USB Audio Interface, but it's not working: Focusrite Control Software (v. 2.1.7) only shows "No Hardware Connected", although the System recognizes my interface as connected via USB.
My Hackintosh is Sierra 10.12.5;
Nothing happened re-installing the software several times, rebooting the computer and switching USB ports and cables. I have both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.
I tried the interface with a genuine MacBook Yosemite 10.10.5 and it works just fine. It also worked fine on my previous Windows 10 OS (same Hardware).
Can anyone help me with that?

Have you tried doing this?

I'm having the same problem with my 18i18. I haven't yet had the energy or patience to make it through this guide and set up the USB properly, but my theory is that once I do the USB compatibility issues might go away.

Can anyone confirm or disconfirm my theory?

I'm having LOTS of problems with USB midi devices. I'm starting to think that maybe hackintosh just isn't the way to go for musicians.

SOLVED!!
I did the following:
I installed both the ALC1150 and series 100 drivers from Mulit-Beast

Apparently nothing else was needed in my case. Hope this helps

I have a problem with ravenna on yosemite (hackinosh):
i hear pops/clicks!
but with the same settings with my macbook with El Capitan
i hear no pops and clicks.
do you have any idea?

GA-Z97X-UD7 TH - El Capitan 10.11.6

Focusrite Clarett 8PreX no problems via Thunderbolt. Also works in Windows with the beta drivers.

Antelope Orion Studio Rev2017 on the same system has been a headache. No audio via Thunderbolt despite the system recognizing the interface. Having issues via USB with audio dropping out completely while working on some projects in Ableton. Can only get it to re-sync to the interface by changing the sample rate in Ableton.

Im using a Scarlett Solo 1st Gen, not a single problem so far.

MOBO: MSI Tomahawk z170a
CPU: i5 7400
OSX: Sierra 10.12.6
