Hey guys
I recently set up my Customac again using a new motherboard I've just purchased. Everything is working great besides shutting down. when i shut down everything seems to turn off as normal but the comuter hardware itself is still on. the case lights are on and so are the rest of the LEDs in there, but hard drive indicator does not move at all, as if its shut down but not powered off. This is the same for sleep as well, which i can not recover from. I do not have a DSDT as there isnt one for my board. I did install 'EvOreboot' from multi beast but this didn't help me.
My specs are:
Mobo: Gigabyte G1 Sniper Socket 1366
CPU: Intel I7 970
Graphics: GeForce 9400 GT 512 (Temporary as Mountain Lion doesn't like my GTX 550ti)
I know about the Audio and Network Chip problems with this board but I've got round this using an external sound-card and a Realtek chip network card.
