Computer turns off and then on.

Sometimes when I boot my computer I hear the fans start spinning and the power LED on the chassi turns on. Then the machine turns off and on again and boots normally. Why?

That typically happens when the computer has both a video card and on board video connected.
On start, with Video set to Auto, BIOS tries to activate the last used Video device. If something changed, it finds the current active device and resets with an automatic restart.

Selecting your video card (PCI) in BIOS Instead of Auto should fix that problem.
