Compatible card with OSX...

Well, I figured out the stupid HP put a Realtek card in my HP Probook 4530s XU015UT when it specifically said that it was supposed to come with an Atheros card which meant that wireless didn't work in OSX.

So I would like to ask everyone if this card will work in my HP Probook 4530s XU015UT as well as OSX LION so I can buy one...

HP has a whitelist that only accepts cards with proper id's. Assuming sellers are describing cards correctly and you have read positive reports from other users, they should work.

I can confirm the first card (from seller in Flushing, NY) works, provided its the exact same card as this:

I just ordered one thanks to someone here that posted it, installed in my 4530s and wireless works great. Bluetooth works, but is disabled after sleep- but then that's typical of all these cards I think.

Be aware that the 2nd one ships from China- I've had things take a month to get to me from China as opposed to 2-3 days from the US, so personally I wouldn't chance it to save 2 bucks.
