Compatibility of Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H MB with Z77X-UD5H components (i5-3570) RAM etc

I am trying to determine the Compatibility of Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H MB with Z77X-UD5H components (i5-3570) Corsair 1600 RAM etc. I fried one of my memory managers making 16GB of Ram useless and messing up my bootability. I took out one 16 GB ram module and got my (Utrazone) build working again with 16GB of ram. I want to replace the MB but they want a brand new price for them even used. I would like to buy the newer board to get upgraded components and capabilities, but now have to scrap all of my current hardware (just the MB). Are the Z77 components compatible with the newer Z97 MB??

Ram, CPU Cooler etc is compatible. Your CPU is LGA1155 Z97X is LGA1151

Me, too, I fried my beloved Z77X-UD5H.

Memory was compatible with a Z97x-SLI board, but decided on upgrading. Aftermarket coolers (esp. high-end ones) can be adjusted for both the 1155 and the 1150 chipsets. I guess everything is interchangeable, except for the actual CPU.
