Side note: Does macOS support sound cards? I worth with Logic and I want the best sound possible.

If you buy a OSX compatible sound card, then it will work fine. I'm a happy Metric Halo and Lynx Aurora user.

The mac Pro (cheese grater) models were able to use some models , but driver updates for newer versions of macOS have been the issue preventing many from being used today. Have a look in the music section or try the search facility to find out more. Most models that folk use today are USB external models.
