Coming back to hackintosh after 5y. Best graphics card for 400-500€?

Hi guys,

I bought a MacBook Pro and I've been out of the hackintosh scene for about 5 years, and now with all this isolation free time I would like to bring back to life my old hackintosh from my signature (which graphics card died a few years ago).

I have a budget of 400-500€ for a graphics card and I would like to prioritize out of the box compatibility, performance for games, and if possible availability on amazon.es

I would also like to know what's currently the easiest way to install macOS Catalina (Out of the box compatibility and updates without repatching), Unibeast + Multibeast, Clover, OpenCore...

Probably best to just use the newest Unibeast and Multibeast which include Clover and not OC.

I've been reading in this forum that some MSI variants have compatibility problems, what do you think about this Gigabyte model? It's also available in amazon.es

Then once I've bought the GPU I'll go with Unibeast and Multibeast

That's a good choice. Should work with Catalina.

Slightly above your budget but nothing to complain about with Radeon VII as well. Installed Mojave without any quirks. Barely noise and excellent overall performance for games and video editing...
