com.apple.Boot.plist option not used?

Having troubles with the Default Partition though. I have:

<key>Default Partition</key>
<string>"Main C Drive"</string>

But it is still defaulting to my "MacOSX" partition.

I also tried by using the hd(x,y) method, but my Disk Identifier info keeps changing with each boot?! So sometimes it's (1,1) or (2,1) etc...

Any advice would be great!

*BUMP*

bumping this as I am running into issue where the disk identifier keeps on changing. This is invalidates my Parallel VM as my VM boots off my Windows 7 HD. When the identifier changes, the VM does not run as it cannot find the window partition.

Is there anyway to lock the Disk Identifier?
