I plan to have W10 and OSX on separate SSDs. What is the benefit of using Clover? What functions would I be giving up if I just used the bios boot menu instead?

As far as I'm aware you can't really not have a hackintosh bootloader for hackintoshing.

You cannot boot into MacOS on a disk without using a bootloader like Clover. So even if you use the BIOS boot menu to choose which disk to boot from, you will still need Clover on the Mac disk to boot into MacOS.

Nice. I understand now. Thank you.
