I'm having difficulties to understand why Recovery volume has "macos" icon instead of "recovery" icon.
Icon is present in theme folder.
What could be wrong? Where to look?

What could be wrong?
It may be a problem with a particular theme, try a different one and see if the problem persists.

I would like to understand why "custom" theme have this issue?
Perhaps the author of the theme made a mistake.

I tried many themes and all "custom" themes had same problem.

Found somewhere else this
After you said I check the disk list from terminal and Primary Hd,Preboot,Recovery and VM drives are inside of the one container. Thats mean all connected one UUID because of that they are sharing one icon for each. Too bad probably no way to fix this right now cause there is no way to assign a new UUID for each one.

But this does not make sense, since default theme works fine.

Clover default theme embedded works fine.
Maybe try and make a copy of the embedded theme and rename the copy to a name of your choice.
Replace the icons with the ones that you want to use.

Seems a great deal of trouble, my menu only stays on screen for five seconds.

There is a theme editor included in the Clover installer, maybe that can help you.
Other than that, no more ideas.
