Clover patch for external display

External monitor patches are already part of the config.plist created by the ProBook Installer. HD4000 1366x768 the patches are for HMDI-audio only, HDMI-video works without patches.

Probably the same, but that is not the patch I use...

You can use a Hex Editor to see if the (Find) pattern still exists...

VGA patch is present (but disabled) in my plist files linked from my Clover laptop guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html

Disabled patches are covered in post #2.

But the VGA patch is not recommended. It tends to cause issues with HDMI and the internal display. It is best to use an active HDMI->VGA adapter instead.
