Clover - Mac Pro 6,1 definition

All you have to do is to get the definition and the serial from MultiBeast and add it to the config.plist in the clover installation folder

Every time I try to change my definition to Mac Pro 6,1, I get an "Unsupported Platform" on boot. Any ideas?

Edit: Nevermind! I finally fixed it. I re-installed Clover, (also finding options I missed), and that solved the issue. My machine reports as a new MP now!

Just spotted this thread - I notice that the posters asking about Mac Pro 6,1 definition are using or certainly have in their profiles Z77 and Z87 chipsets.

My question is this - what are the benefits of applying this definition - I am using a MacMini 6,2 for my Z77X-UD5H with i7-3770k as I thought that or iMac 13,2 would be the closest fit for my machine?

Would I gain anything from changing to a Mac Pro 6,1 definition?

I use it and seem to get good PM.
Do you know what PM is? To be clear, you don't have working PM and that may be good enough for you. Other users may not accept the consequences of running a sysdef incompatible with their system.
