Hello,
I'm new to the Hackintosh world, so it's my first time trying to do this,
I'm not experienced in the project and I've read the installation guide and I'm learning along the way.

I was able to do an install USB pen of Catalina using Unibeast 10.3.0.
I have a Gigabyte Z390 Designare motherboard.

I followed the Catalina installation guide but get stuck in Step 4 point 4.
After Clover appers, I choose the boot install drive,
Apple logo appears but it gets stuck in the beginning of the installation.

I also did it using Verbose mode and took some photos, there seems to be some ACPI errors, then there's some more lines and it gets stuck.
Could you please help me out in what might be the problem?

Thank you so much for your help

Try the OpenCore the guide for that board should do it for you.

Thanks for the link,
it has a lot of information there I will read and go through it.

Could you please let me just know what is OpenCore?

I'm not familiar with the term and hackintosh procedures in general

Thanks

Use the forum Search tool to look for 1689.
It is a common problem with a (usually) simple solution.

that is a guide to making an OpenCore based system, but it doesn't explain what OpenCore is.

Could you please let me just know what is OpenCore?
it is a bootloader

it is a bootloader

Thank you so much,
so it means I can't use Unibeast with Clover and have to do another installation USB pen?

I've searched for it and none of the threads show the same problem I have.
In most of threads the installation is stuck in the 1689 line.
It's not my case, my installation has still 2 more lines after the 1689, one that says "load succeeded" and the last line is "root"
So I'm not sure if my problems is related to the 1689 or not.

Anyway, I've found this possible fix:
"You need to put SSDT-EC.aml in /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched."

I downloaded the SSDT-EC.aml file, but I don't how how can I put it inside "/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched".
How do I access "/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched" ?

I know that the inslations Pendrive has an EFI partition but I can't see it or access from Finder in my OS,
only the "Install Macos Catalina" partition appears

Thank you so much
