Hi,

I installed Yosemite successfully with UniBeast. After that I installed Clover, because of the iMessage error and because of you guys who are saying its better. Everything went fine, I followed some Clover install instructions. But when I start my computer and Clover it hangs an the middle of the status bar.
So I just can boot with Chimera on my USB install device.

What should I do?

Z68X-UD3H-B3 (with U1l)
Sapphire 6870

Some Clover instructions? Which ones? What version of Clover?

Did you install to EFI or Non-EFI

What drivers did you install?

Here's my config.plist file to help you out. However I have removed the following sections as they contain my valid Apple ROM and serial numbers along with other info.

<key>RtVariables</key>
<key>SMBIOS</key>
<key>SystemParameters</key>

Just merge this into your config.plist file or use it as a reference.

We have identical systems so I see no reason why this shouldn't work for you.

Good luck.

EDIT:

I'm using Clover r2953. Attached is the drivers I've installed.

I will try this. Installed Clover_v2k_r2953

edit: I tried exactly your settings but it´s the same.

I will retry a clean install with clover and not with unibeast.

should I replace your config.plist with the one on my install device?

Is your bios UEFI? That may be the real issue here. As far as my config.plist file goes I would use mine but add in the 3 sections from yours that I removed.

edit, yes your bios is UEFI

edit2

if you're going to do a fresh install from usb then r2953 doesn't work for installing. Google search for r2795, it does work. You can upgrade to r2953 after your OS X is up and running.

Edit3

i just realized that I have the fast boot option set in my config.plist file. Change the Timeout value from "0" to "10". It looks like this:

<key>Timeout</key>
<integer>0</integer>
