Clover bootloader screen resolution

Done. I hope this helps :/

The Tylersburg system is the one I am trying to solve the problem with.

Finally loading Clover on 4k resolution!

For me all I had to do is disabled CSM and change clover boot resolution. On secure boot the only two options I got is Windows UEFI and Other OS, tried windows UEFI and didn't work so went back to Other OS and everything is working perfectly.

"disable csm". work for me with higher resolutions

Hi all, are there any solution for this problem in bios legacy system?
My hack is running on Dell Oplitex 980 which dơes not have uefi bios, I just install on GPT bios legacy and can not get the full resution in clover UI also Apple logo in boot screen.

old thread I know.

I stumble across it and though I'd put some info here.

Seem to have solved it.

windows 8 whql
disable csm
no clover driver CmsVideoDxe-64
did apply nvram in clover configurtaor (unsure if this is important or not)
Typed in my res in clover configurator 1920x1200
no load vbios or edid in clover configurator
Started working once I did "disable fullscreen logo show" in the bios.

This method worked with Nvidia 1060 card, but with Radion rx580 this does not work.
I have some weird issues.
When I [Disable CSM] in bios, the startup boot screen does't appear anymore and I can't get even to bios settings, just a black screen.
Maybe there is something wrong in my config.plist?
Can someone help me?

My Bios settings:
  1. M.I.T. : Advanced Memory Settings → Extreme Memory Profile(X.M.P.) : Profile1
  2. BIOS → Fast Boot : Disabled
  3. BIOS → Windows 8/10 Features : Other OS
  4. BIOS → LAN PXE Boot Option ROM : Disabled
  5. BIOS → Storage Boot Option Control : UEFI
  6. Peripherals → Initial Display Output : IGFX or PCIe 1 Slot
  7. Peripherals → Super IO Configuration → Serial Port : Disabled
  8. Peripherals → Network Stack Configuration → Network Stack : Disabled
  9. Peripherals → USB Configuration → XHCI Hand-off : Enabled
  10. Chipset → Vt-d : Disabled
  11. Chipset → Wake on LAN Enable : Disabled

Disabling the CSM works for me at clover boot menu and at boot (Apple logo), but after the progress bar finished I just get a black screen.

I'm running two displays, one 3440x1440 (main, HDMI 2.0) and 3840x2160 (DisplayPort 1.4). Any other clues how to fix correct resolution at boot? Setting the resolution at Clover->GUI doesn't work.

Asus Z170 motherboard, GTX 1070 and macOS 10.13.6.

Disabling the CSM doesn't work with my equipment. After the restart, five short signals are heard, the system restarts and stops on a black screen. Only BIOS reset brings the system back to life. The problem remains unsolved.

I bought 4k monitor. Now my bootloader is very small. I would like to set "scale" resolution to bootloader (like 1920x1080).

UEFI boot only, w8 whql. Is there any other trick to "lower" resolution to FHD (4k is just too small).

PS: I have scale in osx (looks like 2560x1440)

Could use some help as well. Somehow using Multibeast 11.3 sets the clover resolution correctly but... once I upgrade clover to 5045, without touching the config.plist, I get back to 1024x768
