Motherboard
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite
CPU
i9-9900K
Graphics
RX 6600 XT
Mobile Phone
  1. iOS
It works fine on my hardware (Z390 Aorus Elite + i9 9700 + RX 6600) although with the proper customization in terms of kexts it can work well with other Z390 boards and 9th gen CPUs, with integrated and/or AMD GPU.

There are 2 configuration files:
  • config-imac-amd.plist: iMac 19.1 + AMD dGPU + iGPU headless mode
  • config-imac-intel.plist: iMac19,1 + iGPU as main - without dGPU.
Notes:
  • rename selected config file to config.plist
  • for RX 580 and other Polaris cards remove agdpmod=pikera from boot-args
  • add serial numbers for the SMBIOS model.
  • thanks to Sergey Slice and others (jief666, vectorsigma72, LAbyOne, Sher1ocks, etc.) for this work.

Hi, you help me with Big Sur and my machine is sgtable since then.

My board is Asus TUF Z390-PRO GAMING, and grapics AMD Radeon Vega Frontier.

Can I use this EFI to put Monterey/Ventura on my setup ?

@Argozelo
Yes, you can try it, add the specific kexts that you need different to mine.

Hi.

I have a configuration with Gigabyte z390 Aorus Elite motherboard, i5 9600k processor and Radeon RX570 video card.
Clover boot 5151

I also tried your EFI but since I updated to Monterey 12.6.5 it doesn't go to sleep anymore, I have a black screen but the computer doesn't suspend.
I have this problem since 12.6.4.

I noticed from the terminal that I have: PreventUserIdleSystemSleep named: "com.apple.bluetooth.bluetool.script"

I don't have any Bluetooth interface.

Is it just my problem or does the new Monterey update block sleep?

Thank you.

@jamesbit
Does your Clover 5151 EFI have good sleep since 12.6.5 or does it happen only with my EFI?
I don't know about anything in 12.6.5 to loss this feature. If you don't have any Bluetooth device, disabling Bluetooth in System Settings removes the issue or the PreventUserIdleSystemSleep warning?

No...unfortunately I also had the problem with my Efi.
I am attaching yours which I'm using now with some modifications.
I don't have any Bluettoth interface but in terminal I get : IODisplayWrangler.
I also attach a photo of the bluetooth section.
I don't know if sleep doesn't work for that or some other reason.

Thank you "miliuco" ... I hope you can give me some tips to solve ...:)

I solved...:thumbup:

I fixed the bluetooth using BrcmPatchRAM-2.6.5-RELEASE...:)

After making 200 changes :banghead: I noticed that sleep was interrupted from my printer queue even when not connected.
Once the print queue has been eliminated, sleep is back in working order !

Hello everybody...

@jamesbit
Glad to read you. Sometimes fixing issues is a hard work. Enjoy it.
