Hi, I've been thinking of getting a Mac, but I realize that I only want it for the DAWs (GarageBand and Logic Pro X). If I were to get a Clevo P650RE6, would it be compatible with MacOS? Has anyone tried this? Would I be able to dual boot Windows and MacOS. Would it be possible to use something like Parallel Desktop but in reverse (to open Mac apps in Windows)?
The specs I want are:
- CPU: Intel i7-6700HQ 2.6Ghz - 3.5Ghz
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970M 6GB
- RAM: 32GB DDR4 2666Mhz G.Skill (2x 16GB)
- SSD 256GB Samsung 950 PRO M.2 PCIe NVMe (for MacOS Sierra?)
- SSD 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SATA3 2.5 (for Windows 10)
- SSD 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SATA3 2.5 (for storage)
- Intel M.2 AC8260 Wireless LAN + Bluetooth4.0
I would need functional wi-fi and usb ports, but I don't mind if the GPU is disabled, for example, while in MacOS.
