Clean install = slower performance than 10.6 or 10.7?

Hi all, has anyone noticed any significant performance decreases with ML after doing a clean install?

I don't do much with my system, but it would be nice to have the latest and greatest.

Well from what I have noticed, my MacBook Pro runs much smoother now. Lion was a bit jerky in the end on that poor thing ... Did the upgrade and fell in love all over again with the MacBook and the OS X

Can´t wait to get my hackintosh working with this OS!
