Chimera OS X El Capitan Support

Chimera does not support El Capitan at the moment. If things change we will let you all know.

Until Chameleon supports booting El Capitan there are no plans to update it.

Clover works well and has many advantages over Chameleon/Clover.

To switch from Chimera to Clover, what is involved? Do I have to do a completely new install of El Capitan?Will I have to re-format the OS X partition? If so, how do I preserve my existing settings and installed apps?

Chimera will not support El Capitan until the Chameleon trunk does. The Enoch branch is very different than the trunk and porting the required changes over is a major under taking.
