Same issue. If you add a UseMemDetect=No flag in your boot config it will remedy it.

I tried with the latest Chameleon build and the problem does not exist. It is unique to Chimera.

I added this flag as you said and actually fixed the issue. But will this flag affect my system stability?

I haven't fixed this bug yet but in the mean time use the following Boot.plist option:

Code (Text):
UseMemDetect=No

With this option you will now see the correct RAM speed but no vendor info. Without it you will see O MHz but RAM vendor info.

EDIT: Using <key>UseMemDetect</key> <string>No</string> does fix the issue.

I have the same problem with a Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H rev1.1 motherboard and 4x 8 GB Kingston 1600MHz (32 GB total)
Tested with MultiBeast 7.5 and Yosemite 10.10.5

I went for `UseMemDetect=No` boot flag
