I am trying to build the cheapest possible hackintosh from all new(ish) parts from Microcenter.

I know that I could spend $100 more and have a much better hack, but I can't spend that much more.

Ok, so here is my build and prices:

Mobo: ASUS P5G41T-M LX $40
Processor: Celeron E3400 2.6 ghz dual core $40
HD: Hitachi 500 GB $32
RAM: 2 GB Crucial $23
Video: Galaxy 512 mb GeForce 8400 GS $8 (after rebate)
Case & PS: Diablotek case and 400W PS $30
DVD: Sony Optiarc $18
Snow Leopard $30

Total: $221 plus tax

That's the cheapest system I could make.

Will it all work?

I almost have the same cheap build lol! I did this about a week ago but I put Win7 on it and have been debating whether or not to throw SL on it for giggles.
