Hey, all.
My father has a LGA775 system with a decent processor (8500), video board, ram...
But it has a crap ECS motherboard.

Is there an inexpensive LGA775 tonymac compatible motherboard out there? If I could get a cheap one, I'd hackintosh it for him. If there isn't, I'd probably just leave it Win7 rather than trying to deal with it.

Best,
Mike

DG33TL Intel.
Sleep doesn't work though (only monitor goes to sleep).
Audio doesn't work, but use an $8 USB audio plugin.
Intel NIC works using hnak kext.

Try picking up a Gigabyte GA-G41MT-D3V, if you can find one. I picked one up for an old Q6600 chip I had and it works perfectly with OSX. DDR3 RAM, non-voodoo audio, sleep & wake... everything worked practically out-of-the-box with a UniBeast install of Lion. There's even a DSDT patch file available for it if you follow samisnake's DSDT guide.

Good luck! :)

The intel DG33FB works with everything but sleep & IDE drives
