Is there a way to charge and sync an ipad at the same time through a usb port? I dont think most ports can supply enough current!

Yeah, sorry. Am thinking more of a cable solution as I'm looking for 2.4A output so I can run my ipad pro as a second display without draining the battery. Cheers.
