change from white to black boot

i have seen these steps to get the black apple boot insted of the white one i currently have considering that i did install OS X Yosemite using unibeast
so ! will it cause any proplems ( Panic attacks ) or such things to my mac or not ?

and i want to buy a screen but i want to know if the HDMI port in my laptop will work or not??

You should be using a MacBookPro9,1 SMBIOS. As it will be after pre-2011 it should then boot with the black screen.
