I apologise if this topic has been raised before.

I have two drives (windows and mac) if I use iboot disc, both are shown on the boot loader screen, and I can boot to either by arrowing to select.

However if i just boot normally (no boot disc) I am only presented with the snow drive and blue countdown bar.

Anyone have a suggestion as to how I might be able to fix this?

Apologies again if this is a silly question.

LOL nope, I just watched it with sadness....

I'll try that and let you know, thanks for your response.

Yep that was the problem, I was used to the old version that just showed them all when it loaded!

thanks.

That feature is available in this version too. Chameleon is very configurable. See Tony's post:

All you need to do is set

Instant Menu=Yes

in your com.apple.boot.plist file in /Extra

like the bit in blue:

<key>Hide Partition</key>
<string>hd(2,3)</string>
<key>Instant Menu</key>
<string>Yes</string>

I also use hide partition so that it only displays certain partitions to unclutter the screen. Otherwise FAT32 data partitions show up too.

Tony's post has more detail and other options.

thanks for the info carbine.

Hey guys, how would I go about making the count down timer less? I want to make it around 2 seconds because I can't boot my windows partition from chameleon but I still want to be able to go -x or -v etc etc...
