Yes you can change the amount of time the Chimera boot screen displays.

The default MultiBeast time is2 seconds. To change the time from the default "2" to your choice navigate to Extra /org.chameleon.Boot.plist. There you will find the Timeout setting. As I said the default is 2. If you change it to 0, the boot screen will stay open until you select the drive to start.
