Ive tried it but still no luck
It boots up to apple logo and the progress bar goes to a point and just restarts.

So is this the reason im having problems? I am using the on board HDMI port.
Ive tried using a dGPU, which is a R5 230, it gets detected by macos, but shows 7mb. When i connect the hdmi to my igpu, it doesn't get detected instead says 'Display 7MB'
I dont think so R5 230 is supported, so i cant get acceleration with it.
I have no DP or DVI ports onboard though, only 2 hdmi ports.

Because R5 230 is not supported, you should also include the -wegnoegpu boot argument.
Sometimes unsupported cards can work with fake-id but I don't know is that possible with R5 230.

Yes, and the HD 530 feels much more better than the R5 230. That's why im trying to get the HD530 to work, but its too troublesome. Have you checked the previous post? Ive tried booting with the config file you provided with imac17,1 smbios.

Try booting again without video acceleration (0x12345678 or 0x193B0005). You can use the other config that boot before. Then clear cache & Repair permissions. Try also clearing Nvram, put the new config back with -wegnoegpu in boot arguments, poweroff completely including unplugging power cord for a minute. Then boot again

@tecnicasopr Do you know what this means? I've been reading up about it and trying to get it to work but I'm still confused. Is it considered headless only if the monitors are daisychained?

I actually added Lilu and WhateverGreen in L/E and didnt rebuild cache and permission. I've now installed the kext via hackintool. Is it okay if the kexts are in both Clover's Kext folder and L/E?

Previously when i boot with -v, i would get a message 'System automatically rebooted after a panic'. Now i dont get that but still it crashes

Use the hex calculator thing in Hackintool or google Hex conversions. I also only discovered this recently
