Catalina Wi-Fi synchronization

Does device (iPhone, iPad) synchronization via wi-fi still work in Catalina?
If yes, what are the settings to activate it.

It refuses to sync my iPad which synchronizes perfectly via USB
I will update the post if I can solve and understand its motivation.

As promised: update.
After many hours of trying, just rebooting the next day (and maybe after the synchronizations made via USB yesterday that opened the way), the iPad is recognized and synchronized perfectly via Wi-Fi.
Obviously I did not understand the cause of yesterday's failure.
