I downloaded Catalina on my Hackintosh that is running Mojave 10.14.6 supplemental update 2. The Installer downloads and runs fine. It reboots and I selected the "Install macOS from disk name".

It starts but immediately stops at PTIDSensors: started. I looked at the verbose logs above and the only error I see is

SMMSensors: [Error] Unable to validate Dell SMM Signature, not loading SMMSensors.

Any idea what could be causing this and how could I go past this?

I have clover 5090, latest lilu, whatevergreen and AppleALC. My machine build is the same as mentioned here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...70-maximus-viii-hero-i7-6700k-gtx-980.197284/ except I have a AMD 580 graphics card.

Any idea what could be causing this and how could I go past this?

You should try it with SSDT-EC.aml in /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched.

Thanks, @P1LGRIM that worked like a charm. Are there any details as to why this was needed for Catalina and never needed before. Just out of curiosity.
