Catalina - Intel HD4600 not detected

Hello.

I've got a problem with my catalina installation and the iGPU Intel HD4600.

Here is my setup:

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H
Intel Core i7 4770K 1150 Haswell using its internal Intel HD Graphics 4600 only
16 GB RAM
System Disk: Samsung 840 Pro Serie 256GB SSD

The system is booting up fine but the Intel HD4600 iGPU (iGPU only system) is not detected correctly. At the moment the system only shows me "Display 8MB" for the graphics card and the screen is mirrored on both connected displays. (one display via display port, the other via DVI)

I've set the following in the clover config:

To be honest I have no clue why the iGPU (HD4600) is not detected correctly. This worked for years without any effort.

It would be awesome if someone could give me a hint about what I could change.

Untick the check box for Inject Intel, save your config.plist and reboot.

I've tried it it that way right now. Without ticking the "Inject Intel" box I'm not getting the system to boot. Here is the kernel panic that occurs:

Back up your existing config.plist first. Then delete it from your Clover folder. Then try attached config.plist.

Ok I've tried that one. Now I am stuck at the clover boot screen. Booting with the config leads to a kernel panic (reboot). Booting without kexts leads to a never ending boot. And booting without WEG leads to a kernel panic as well.

What is the easiest way to get the old config back in?

Boot in safe mode and ignoring caches. You can also use the Unibeast USB installer.

Ok I did boot up from my CCC cloned working copy and replaced the config on the systems disks EFI clover partition.
I'm back now in the old config with the not detected graphics card.

What have you been trying to do?

Perhaps it is important to know that I'm running two displays out of the custom mac. One is connected by display port and the other one by DVI. Both are driven by the iGPU.

On my old clone with the old kexts in /L/E it is working normally as I could test while recovering the config. (but this was quite an old clone with OSX Sierra)

Any other ideas?

Would be best if you could see what other owners of Gigabyte Z87X motherboards are doing for Catalina. Search the User Builds and see if you can find a working config.plist and specific kexts that are needed.
