Clover w/ kexts to allow booting Catalina (fully upgraded)
next steps for the moderate advanced users only bcuz I'm not feeling like a all out tutorial on this
grab the Catalina.app and create the usb installer
after its done replace clover with this clover.zip contents and change the config.plist as follows (against I was lazy hence moderate advanced users will be able to follow this) once clover boots up from usb:

NOTE: [grabbed the base dsdt from another model with similar specs)

ACPI/DSDT/Fixes
1. Only Fix Regions is needed
2. everything else unchecked


PCI Drivers
1. USB INJECTION needs checked
2. everything else unchecked

CPU TUNING:
1. Check Generate P and C states
2. Check enable C4 and C6
3. Check patchapic
4. everything else unchecked

Integrity Protection:
1. check Allow untrusted kexts
2. check allow unrestricted fs
3. check all task for pid
4. everything else unchecked

Sys Params Boot Args Menu
1. Everything unchecked

Catalina should boot (I tried many ways for a few hours this worked)


UPDATE: clover fresh off the USB that was used to load Catalina
the above clover click-configs still apply (my profile lists one of the other systems I used for a Mojave)

1) Grabbing the itlm kext (link above) and placing it in clover EFI kexts/other folder and,
2) You will then need to run heliport (link below) to connect to a WiFi once booted into OS X

Is this a desktop PC? As far as I can tell a Toshiba C55 is a laptop, especially as your build includes an i5-3220M CPU.

So I've moved it to the Laptop forums.

Please update your hardware profile to include the i5-3220M CPU. If I'm wrong and it's a desktop, please confirm details.

Your attached EFI zip will not boot anything as all the filenames have been capitalised, truncated and in 8-3 DOS format.

The config.plist has a system-definition of iMac14,2 - which is a desktop and not suitable for a laptop.

Please remove the zip and correct before reposting.
