I have installed Mojave a few days ago without any significant problems, and I thought I could upgrade to Catalina without any problems with the same configurations.
I just updated Clover to the latest version (r5070) and so did the Kexts.
However, I couldn't boot to the Catalina Installer and it always freezed on the message "Previous shutdown cause: 5". But I could boot to Mojave again in the Clover without any issues. I also changed VirtualSMC to FakeSMC and tried to re-upgrade but it didn't solve the problem.
Here are my EFI folder and screenshot of the freeze.
+ Plus, I tried fresh-installation of Catalina with a USB with only essential kexts (FakeSMC, RTL8111, USBInjectAll, Lilu, Whatevergreen), EFI files (same with the attached EFI folder's /EFI/Clover/Drivers/UEFI/, only replaced VirtualSMC.efi with SMCHelper.efi) and RehabMan's Mojave UHD630 config.plist, but it also didn't work and stopped at the same point.
