Hello problem solvers, I have one for you... :)

I cannot get past the Apple logo after I do the initial format of the hard drive in recovery mode followed by installing Catalina.

After the install finishes (in like 5 minutes) the computer restarts.

Whether I choose the pre-boot or the Macintosh HD volume, I then get stuck at the apple logo without seeing any progress bar at all.

I feel that the installation should continue at this point.

Here is a picture I took of the verbose version. Not sure what the errors are pertaining to and what I can do to remedy this problem.

Thank you for your very helpful feedback in advance!

Looks like CFG is locked. You need to unlock that via the BIOS if the option is available.

Thanks trs96.

I decided to update the motherboard to the latest bios version using q-flash. I also decided to redo the Catalina USB Formatting as per tonymac's instructions.

I re-ran verbose using the USB drive, and this is what I get this time:

I also re-did the BIOS settings from scratch.

Are you still using OpenCore or did you make a Unibeast installer with Clover ?

I made a Unibeast installer with Clover.

I used Opencore to download Catalina.

I made a Unibeast installer with Clover.
Zip up and attach that Clover EFI folder and then we can see what you're doing with it.

Attached.

Try this EFI that is modified for your system. Simply replace the existing one on the USB installer.
