Catalina Install USB goes to black screen - Gigabyte Z87 D3HP, RX5700

Been building my own Hackintoshes for years but stuck on this one! Had a working Mojave install on an RX560, but upgraded to an RX5700 and updating wouldn't boot up properly, so tried a clean install but the install usb goes to apple installing logo to about 70% then black screen. Unexpectedly I can still boot into a Mavericks install using the RX5700 so can rebuild the install USB from that
Used Unibeast on default settings
Got this photo just before black screen:

replaced whatevergreen and Lilu

tried -x -v -f args, caused a quick reset
No change with -v agdpmod=pikara, not got photo of the -v output but can get one if needed.

Pretty stumped, any advice?

Using a displayport cable instead HDMI fixed this! Only trouble now is can't get to my Windows machine via the network. It sees it but won't connect
