If you have it... try setting "Limit CPUID Maximum Value"[/B] in your BIOS to disable. (MINE WAS UNDER ADAVANCED/PROCESSORS)

My Lion install ran fine but with ML I had the same restart loop and this fixed it.

Good Luck !!

Do you guys think there will be a fix? or should i go ahead and buy a new motherboard?

Try using xmove, but not with a USB device, just in other hard drive partition

Saw this - and it worked for me on reboot loop after kext load - set to disable

Yup I tried all the tips, will try the BIOS tip next, and lastly xmove.

seems to have worked.

worked by doing GraphicsEnabler=No

Update Chimera bootloader via MultiBeast first

Tried the standalone Chimera bootloader update but that did not seem to update anything. So ran Multibeast in Lion 10.7.4 and only selected the Chimera bootloader update to 10.X. and then was finally able to boot to the Mountain Lion install screen. Found this solution mentioned a few times in the xMove boot issue threads.

Tried all these things, messed with BIOS setting (in a safe manner) and none worked :/ Oh well

Yup same here nothing worked :(
