This method worked flawlessly on my i7 using Intel HD graphics, but it won't even boot on my Asus X99 with two GTX 980's in SLI. The initial problem related to a memory allocation bug and I managed to fix it following this blog post: https://nickwoodhams.com/x99-hackin...relocblock-can-not-allocate-relocation-block/
But now I am in a situation where I can only boot Yosemite using legacy Clover. Booting either Yosemite or this USB installer by UEFI leads to a reboot at "PCI configuration begin." From what I've read, X99 boards have a problem with Clover/UEFI when more than one PCIe slot is filled, but everyone seems to have a unique solution to their own setup, none of which have worked for me. I have seen success with MSI and Gigabyte X99 boards, but nothing with Asus...
Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone around here has managed to get this installer (and El Capitan) running on an Asus X99 board with SLI graphics cards.
