Hello everyone,
everything worked perfect with my old MB Gigabyte p55a-ud3 and Asus gtx560ti.. it was already boring being all perfect
So i got now a hardware update to MB Asus Maximus iv Gene-z/GEN3 (Z68) with i7-2600K and some more RAM, but same gtx560ti.
Of course i installed the modified bios 3501, i also tested the 3305 and their original versions ..
In beginning of installation, directly after Apple-Bootlogo there is no welcome screen, the monitor gets no video signal anymore.
I did many tests with bios-settings, the only way to get installed is , set primary GFX to MB GFX, (not PCIe), and connect a second
monitor connected to the MB HDMI-port.
Of course i want to use the GTX560ti as primary videocard
Everything else works fine after installation and multibeast, but always with two monitors (one GTX, one HD3000)
I also tested a new installation with two monitors (BIOS: primary graphics adapter=PCIe) checking if the screen is on the internal
graphics adapter after apple-logo, but there is nothing on each screen, it seems that the systems stops or hangs after the apple-logo.
i read the forum since two days (and nights ) but there is no solution for this. graphicsenabler yes/no pcirootuid=1/0 ... nothing helps.
Perhaps someone had the same problem with ASUS z68 boards and an NVidia graphics card.
Thanks for your help !!
