About this mac shows "iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)" which doesn't support Big Sur. What should I do to update to big sur? I am currently on Catalina 10.15.7

Any help appreciated
consider to upgrade your system definition. If you use a different serial number, you can revert back to your current definition as well. I would experiment a little in Catalina with a more modern system definition; if it works well, and this system is compatible with Big-Sur you can do the upgrade. Perhaps you can find other system definitions being used with your hardware.

Thanks for the tip, I changed the system definition to imac 18,2 and it booted up successfully. My next step was to update clover to 5126, not I am stuck at apple logo on boot. Not sure where to go.
