Hi,

I've been running this build for over a year now and its very stable, but I can't get any of the motherboard audio ports to work. I've tried on and off and resorted to running a USB dongle. But I'd like to get around it if I can.

This isn't the build in my profile, but rather:

Gigabyte Asus Maximus IX Hero
Core i7
32 GB RAM
2 NVME Samsung 250 GB EVO 970s
Geforce 970
High Sierra 10.13.6

Clover r4630 w/NVRAM

Installed KEXTS all up to date as of today:
AirportBrcmFixup.kext
AppleALC.kext
BT4LEContiunityFixup.kext
FakeSMC_ACPISensors.kext
FakeSMC_CPUSensors.kext
FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext
FakeSMC_LPCSensors.kext
FakeSMC_SMMSensors.kext
FakeSMC.kext
HibernationFixup.kext
Lilu.kext
NoVPAJpeg.kext
SMCBatteryManager.kext
SMCLightSensor.kext
SMCProcessor.kext
SMCSuperIO.kext
USBInjectAll.kext
VirtualSMC.kext
WhateverGreen.kext

config.plist attached.

Any ideas of where to start?

Thanks!!!

I am pretty sure the Maximus IX Hero is an Asus motherboard, not Gigabyte. Have you tried following the guide already? https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/applehda-hdmi-audio-guide.234735/

Yes, Asus of course. thinking of my other build ;-). Of course as soon as I wrote this post I found the guide you are pointing out and already have some progress...I guess I just had to write it out somewhere.

That did the trick. Thank you!
