Can't get 1Gbps with Lnx2Mac's Realtek kext on GA-X58A-UD3R

So I found another cable to try that was running my laptop at 1Gbs. I rebooted the machine, and it is still running at 100Mb.

I just think that if the cable does 1gb on my laptop, I should be able to plug that same cable into my hackintosh and get 1gb. I changed ports, but don't have another cable long enough at this time to change.

How long is "long-enough" ?
Can you please relocate the hackintosh closer to the switch and use a short cable ?

Debug is just one of the options in the installer...
The kernel.log can be taken from Console.app...
