Hi.
I have a problem downloading Catalina OS or any other OS in the appstore, i get "Update not found, the requested version of macos is not available"
Everything else works fine like downloading apps. Anyone know how i can fix this problem? I would like to have this fix so in future i can make a MacOS usb installer.

Same error had to use another source. Let me know if you figure this out please.

Same here. Ran 10.15.0 Update (19A602). Then in AppStore GET macOS Catalina..

Same here. I did the update on this hackintosh. Tried to download Catalina from app store to make a usb installer so I could install on another machine and I get the same error.

Apparently, Apple doesn't want to give the installer out anymore :)

I found a workaround.

Open Terminal, paste:
softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version=10.15

dont panic when it says "Installing", it is installing the installer, not the OS.

After it is done the installer is under Applications.

Tried by copying and pasting but didn't work for me.

For me the problem was that I was using older Mac Pro system definition, which is not supported anymore with Catalina. Changed it to newer iMac and problem solved.

Hey what definition did you use?
