you have to mount EFI folder from USB drive and copy over everything from that folder to a new folder on your desktop.
then unmount USB EFI folder and then remount the EFI folder for your mac HD. copy contents from new folder on desktop and then replace the contents on your hard drive's efi folder (that you just mounted).
use diskutil list to make sure you are access the correct efi folders.
goal is to have the exact same files from USB drive to be transfered over to your HD. If you can boot from your USB drive, then that means they are different then the files that are on your HD.
not sure about your Audio - you are going to have to do a lot of searching around tonymacx86 to see how other people with your exact same audio issue got it fixed.
