Hello,

For the last couple of days I've been trying to boot into MacOS Monterey without succes. I've followed the official opencore install guide and used SSDTTime to generate SSDT-EC and SSDT-PLUG, but I haven't managed to reach the installer.

VT-d, CFG Lock, IOAPIC 24-119 Entries and Fast Boot are disabled in bios.
Primary Display is PCIE, with IGPU-Multi-Monitor Enabled and DVMT Pre-allocated set to 128M.

My build:
Asus Z170I pro gaming mini-itx
Intel QQLS 8 core 16 thread @ 4,7Ghz (coffee lake ES)
WD SN550 500GB NVMe
Asus ROG Strix Vega 64
8GB HyperX DDR4 2133Mhz
The wifi card has been removed from the motherboard.

Hi - I've taken a look at your EFI Folder and made a few changes and remove some unnecessary clutter. The golden rule for OC is you must have Lilu.kext first in the kext tree (see guide). Try this revised EFI on the EFI partition on a test USB and see how it goes. Good luck.

I'd like to thank you both for helping me, sadly I haven't resolved the issue yet.

Darkmacintosh79 his EFI folder didn't show my boot options weirdly enough.

Esafeddie his EFI resulted in the same error as last time. I've uploaded multiple pictures because the errors are not exactly identical.

Ok, I've re-created the EFI folder. First thing is put the EFI folder into the root of the USB stick. When you boot off it, run the 'VerifyMsrE2.efi' to check if your CFG bios is unlock/lock. If it is lock, reboot and run 'CFGLock.efi' and choose the option to unlock it. Reboot and run the VerifyMsrE.efi again to check if it is unlock.

If it is unlock, reboot and and you should be able to install Monterey.

Thank you for the quick reply, VerifyMsrE.efi already shows that my CFG is unlocked.

Try adding the APFS efi driver kext to your \EFI\OC\Drivers folder.

I just tried adding ApfsDriverLoader.efi to my drivers and plist, but it had no effect.
Apfs drivers are now build in to opencore, so do I still need this one?
Thanks in advance
