same problem :((
I used tonymacs buyersguide,

Q77M-D2H Sockel1155 4xDDR3 max 32GB uATX Intel G77
INTEL Core i7-3770 3,4GHz LGA1155 8MB Cache LGA1155 Desktop CPU boxed Ivy Bridge
16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Corsair Vengeance
160 GB Sata Disk

Installing OS X 10.8.3 with unibeast, everything works fine

Post-Install MultiBeast - Mountain Lion 5.2.1 (only "install bootloader" activated) reboot (also shut down & turn on), system freeze on the apple logo.

Waiting for DSMOS...

any help outside please ?!!

THANXS!!

I also have this problem. Seems to be very common. Anyone have a response?

I feel I've followed all the instructions appropriately, purchased all the correct parts, but yet have been failing here.

Same problem here... Did the same, bought the recommended components - seem to have been a mistake doing that.

I thought it was my GTX670 at first, but now i see i have the same CPU error.

I have the 3570 CPU and GA-Q77-H2D motherboard.

What system definition are people running? I'm running 3.1 and have this issue.

I tried all of them, makes no difference.

What i do have is a Core i5 2500K in another computer, i'll try moving it to this motherboard.. i would guess that is the problem.

I found the problem... Disable VT-d in bios!

It might help to upgrade Chimera to version 2.x too.

That message,

WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo : this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
-- power management may be incomplete or unsupported

means you are using Sandy Bridge Power Management on an Ivy Bridge CPU.

The only way to get rid of it is to use proper Ivy Bridge Power Management.

Having the same CPU issue.
Thanks for the tip.
How can I switch the power management to support Ivy Bridge?
Thanks again!

I'm dealing with a similar problem as the previous poster (can only boot in -x mode, and the same error message appears when I try to boot normally). This is my build:

Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 Ghz Ivy
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H
Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid-State SATA 6.0Gb/s SSD
Crucial 16GB kit (2x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz
EZ-cool K-660B ATX
(No GPU)

And I get this error message:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
