Because of my video card I can only boot into safe mode and was wondering how to install multibeast if I can't use my usb drive. I was wondering if I could put iboot and multibeast on the same cd and boot from that.

Re: can you install multibeast in safe mode

You can roll up your own iboot disc to include MultiBeast if you want, or you could just burn MultiBeast onto a different CD (since you don't need iBoot in the drive once you've booted into Mac OS X).

Re: can you install multibeast in safe mode

I tried to roll my own but when I boot to it it says
please insert boot media and reboot
press any key to continue__

if I take out the iboot and put in multibeast cd it won't show up in finder only in disk utility

Re: can you install multibeast in safe mode

solved finally got it to boot into normal mode

Hey i'm having the same problem. Can only boot in safe mode because of my video card. And the networking does not appear to work in safe mode, is this to be expected? Therefore i cannot get multibeast onto the computer. I've tried burning it but think i"m doing it wrong. What should i burn? The zip or the files?

I got the same problem of gdawg33, and i've tried to roll up my own boot cd (iboot+multibeast) but its impossible.

gdawg33 how did u solve it? what did u do to boot in normal mode?

Thanks

first of all, tank you for reply

I've to add PCIRootUID=1 to my com.apple.boot.plist like this:

<key>PCIRootUID</key>
<string>1</string>

or i've to boot using this command?

Tks again, and waiting desperate for your reply
