Can this be done Acer Aspire R1600

Hi,

I have a Acer Aspire R1600 model PC. Can I convert this into a Mini hackintosh? From the stickers on the outside it said it has a intel atom inside and nvidia ion as graphic. Thanks for your help

I have the same r1600, I think I'll try it right now, but I'm a little skeptical.. I'll keep you updated.

I spent a little bit in the bios and I think I got all the settings right. I got iboot to recognize the 10.6 disk and it booted the grey apple screen, but after 5 mins of looking at it a "No" symbol (You know, the no smoking circle with the diaganol line through it) showed. I remembered the iboot I downloaded was the legacy one, so I'm gonna try the other one.

Any advice from hardcore hackintoshers would be greatly appreciated!

So far, no good. On the apple screen it stalls, didn't even get as far as the legacy disk did.

Any help would be great!

hi today i tried installing SN and i ran into the same problem as you bummer ill start my search and look for guides if i find anything, ill post here
