Can Spotify Music be downloaded?

I have a free trial of Spotify for several weeks, and I want to download it. But whatever I tried, I failed to do so. Can Anyone tell me about the specific ways on how to download it? Or it can't be downloaded?

Go to the site, sign in and then launch the web player. Nothing you need to download. If you feel that you need the app you can get it here https://www.spotify.com/us/download/other/ and run the macOS installer.
